Brooks Range Side Trip
North Alaska & the Arctic Circle at Brooks Range and Anaktuvuk Pass

Go above the Arctic Circle to truly experience the far north grandeur of the ‘Land o the Midnight Sun!

Day 1
  • Alaska Airlines flight to Fairbanks
  • Overnight Fairbanks

DAY 2

  • Fly from Fairbanks the town of Coldfoot, north of the Arctic Circle. Enjoy a flight through the Brooks Mountain Range to Anaktuvuk Pass, a Nunimuit Eskimo Village surrounded by the Gates of the Arctic National Park.
  • Overnight Coldfoot

DAY 3

  • Ground tour south on the rugged Dalton Highway. Cross over the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface. Experience the mighty Yukon River and marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland's most famous waterway and learn of the river's storied past.
  • Pass the Alaska Pipeline and stop in the rural community of Joy. Arrive in the land of the midnight sun at midnight
  • Overnight Fairbanks
Day 4
  • Flight to  Petersburg ( or other destination with a possible price differential)
